Jennie Brewster: Marketing

Since 2001, Jennie has been active in raising money to find a cure for cancer. Participation in the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk unexpectedly led to the formation of the non-profit organization, Remember the Rainbows, in 2004. In 2007, Jennie put to use her marketing, fundraising and personal training skills by going to work for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. As Campaign Manager, she was responsible for managing the Light The Night Walk and Team in Training campaigns in the Savannah area. Currently, Jennie serves as a Campaign Assistant managing the year-round Team In Training program and assisting with Leukemia Cup Regatta events.  Jennie served as Small Business Chamber Board President from 2012-2013.  In addition, she volunteers with the Girls on the Run of Coastal Georgia organization.

Jennifer Melear: Secretary

Jennifer Melear is the founder and co-owner of Everbloom, Inc., a garden and flower design company. She and her husband, Jeff, have worked for over a combined 30 years in the horticulture industry in Savannah, St. Simons and Sea Islands, and Atlanta; and have spent the past eight years building their own business in Savannah. Jennifer enjoys running and has served as a mentor with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training.

Cindy Klein: Treasurer

Cindy is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BS in Accounting. She sat for and passed the CPA exam while still in Maryland. Cindy has worked for several businesses and Virginia Tech University in addition to volunteering her time at church and school. She is currently the Director of H&R Block’s Premium Office in Savannah where they specialize in the more complicated returns in addition to trusts, estates, partnerships, corporations and just about anything else that comes their way. They also like to prepare less complicated returns and assist with tax planning.
